Firefighters Injured, Woman Paralyzed In Steelton Blaze: Officials (Photos, Videos)

Two firefighters and a resident were injured, and a woman was paralyzed following a fire in Steelton on Saturday, officials and a fun launched to help the woman explained.

The fire broke out at a duplex converted into apartments in the 100 block of North Second Street around 5 a.m. on May 11, Dauphin County emergency dispatch.

Details about the firefighters' injuries were not immediately available when Daily Voice reached out to officials on Monday morning. 

We do know the roommate was burned in the fire, from a fund launched to help the other injured resident. 

Lynn Croman was trapped on the third floor and decided to jump out of the window, "hitting the roof on the 2nd floor and then the ground to save her life," a friend, Denise Tucci explained on the GoFundMe campaign page, adding that "Lynn is in the ICU, she has severe broken bones, and unfortunately her spinal cord has been severed, and she is now paralyzed from her abdomen down."
